The Planmed Sophie system is designed with soft lines, carefully selected colouring, and with contoured paddle/ bucky shape. For the Operator easily placed controls which are duplicated side to side and top & bottom ensure maximized Operator efficiency and concenience. Planmed Sophie can be configured for film, Spot Digital, and Full Field Digital; and it can operate in conjunction with (for example) the recently released FUJI Mammo CR system for optimum digital imaging performance and realistic costing. Please ask for details

The Planmed SOPHIE Classic Mammographic Unit is an sophisticated instrument incorporating a range of advanced
features, and with simple Operator control operation.・.
ｷ Microprocessor controlled system design with full internal diagnostics and management.
ｷ 80 kHz high performance Generator with 0.1/0.3 mm focal spot tube for outstanding image quality and low patient dose.
ｷ Automatic line voltage management; auto tube thermal loading and shutdown management.
ｷ Enhanced ergonomics, and with dual control panels for convenient operation.
ｷ Motorised drive functions for C Arm movement.
ｷ Efficient patient compression Paddles with easy lock-in facility.
ｷ Intelligent AEC, computer controlled to optimise contrast, and with minimum dose. Three solid state detectors are combined
with 15 density steps and 9 pre programmed film/ screen combinations for complete operator control of image quality. AEC and
AAEC (auto kV) modes included.

120 mA large focus; and 42 mA fine focus output. (Varian tube)

X Ray Tube: Toshiba Rotating anode 300,000 HU Molybdenum target.
0.1/ 0.3 mm foci, with biased focal spots. High speed, biangular anode.
Be. Window, Mo filter, and optional Rh Filter included.
Outputs ・Large focus 110 mA, small focus 35 mA.
